Pete and Rose King are pleased to welcome you to La Grange de La Gautellerie, a large barn recently restored and converted into two luxury gites. The barn is situated in a peaceful idyllic spot, just outside the village of St Revérénd in the Vendée.

The barn sits on a large plot of approximately 3 acres. The neighbouring farmhouse La Gautellerie is just across the track/cycle path and is owned by our friends. There is a patio area and a large garden which is laid to lawn and has extensive views over the valley.

There are two gites for hire: 'Gîte à la ferme ' and the larger 'Gîte de la Vallée'. 

People who have visited us feel the photographs do not show the size or extent of the property.  

St Revérénd is 15 minutes drive from the picturesque harbour town of St Gilles Croix-de-Vie which has a beautiful long wide stretch of sandy beach. It’s a haven for water sports and has some great surf too. In high season it is very lively; having plenty of bars, restaurants and pavement cafes; and in the evening there are craft stalls in the narrow streets and along the quay. In the low season many of the shops and restaurants stay open making it an ideal resort any time of year.

If you like cycling the terrain in the area is generally flat. The barn is situated on one of the many cycle paths which weave their way through countryside, or to the coast for the more energetic!
